Land development begins at Avatar’s TerraLargo

Land development is under way at TerraLargo, a Tuscan-themed master-planned community – on Sleepy Hill Road – being developed by award-winning builder-developer Avatar Properties Inc.

The community – featuring Tuscan-inspired architecture – will include six residential villages with 618 single-family and executive residences on 50- and 70- foot wide homesites, says David Pardue, manager of Avatar’s Tampa division. Floor plans range from 1,460 to 3,160 square feet of living space, while pricing will start in the $ 200s including homesite.

Plans also call for resort-style amenities such as a 4,952-square-foot clubhouse and fitness center overlooking a 3,500-square-foot, zero-entry, free-form pool surrounded by a 6,000-square-foot deck and terrace.

This 640-acre community is five miles southeast of Interstate 4 at exit 32 in Polk County.

More than 60 percent of TerraLargo’s acreage has been set aside as open space and conservation areas including 29-acre Meadow View Lake, and a number of ponds.
