Wright Family of Lakeland wins Lakeland Square Santa Sweepstakes

Lakeland Square Mall owned by General Growth Properties (GGP) has announced that the Lisa Wright family of Lakeland is the lucky winner of the first annual Santa Makes A House Call Sweepstakes As winners, the family will receive a Christmas Eve visit from Santa Claus, who will bring toys and gifts for the family’s two children.

Lakeland Square hosted the Santa Makes A House Call Sweepstakes in partnership with TerraLargo, an Avatar development now open on Sleepy Hill Road.  Lisa Wright’s entry was chosen randomly from the more than 2,000 individuals who registered at Santa’s home in the mall.

“We were absolutely delighted to host this sweepstakes for the very first time,” says April Thomas, senior marketing manager for the shopping center. “Santa has put his elves to work, getting presents ready for the two children. This will be Santa’s first Christmas Eve stop before he starts on his around-the-world deliveries.”

Santa Claus will visit the Wright family in their Lakeland home on Sunday, December 24 at 8:00 a.m. Members of the press are invited to accompany Santa when he makes his presentation.
